Budget Activity
(1) A budget activity is a major subdivision of a budget appropriation, generally in mission areas. It records estimates for a component function or activity to be funded by the appropriation.
(2) Categories within each appropriation and fund account that identify the purposes, projects, or types of activities financed by the appropriation or fund.
